Missouri SS/SB 618 Requires health carriers to provide coverage for the diagnosis and treatment of autism spectrum disorders under certain conditions,
is currently scheduled for a hearing in the House Special Standing Committee on Health Insurance, at 1:30PM, Tuesday, April 6, 2010 in Hearing Room 5.
Missouri SS/SB 618 passed the Senate by a 26 to 6 vote on March 18, 2010.
The related House bill, HB 1311 & 1341 , which passed the Missouri House by a 135-18 vote on February 18, 2010 had its 2nd reading in the Senate and is currently in the Senate Small Business, Insurance & Industry Committee. No hearing date nor calendar schedule has been set as of today.
The non-insurance bill SB 1030, which would establish a license to engage in the practice of applied behavior analysis, administered under the Board of Psychologist Examiners, was assigned to Senate Financial and Governmental Organizations and Elections Committee and also does not show a hearing scheduled at this time.
